Speakers at the VATD Conference will include Bena Kallick, well-known consultant and author in the areas of group dynamics, creative and critical thinking, and alternative assessment strategies for the classroom and Dr. Billy Cannaday, Jr. recently appointed to the State Board of Education.
Bena Kallick is known nationally and internationally for her practical approach to making curriculum mapping and assessment a catalyst for improving teaching and learning. We are currently requesting break-out sessions that will highlight best practices in all areas of assessment. If you would like to submit a proposal to present a session, please click on the link in the red box to the left. As we have stated over the years, our breakout sessions are what make our conference so meaningful, so please consider sharing your "best practices" with others! We are asking that session proposals be submitted by June 30th.
Online registration for the VATD Conference will be announced soon.
